WEDDING DAY AT BROUSSARD FARM IN BEAUMONT, TX
Why do you want to capture your wedding on video? I can’t wait to show our future children and grandchildren the love story that started our family. We started a family of our own on our wedding day and it is amazing to have it to watch anytime we want.
Why did you pick Me? A week after we got engaged we met with Dawn at Swanky Occasions. She said you were the best around. I messaged you as soon as we left that meeting and the rest was history. After watching wedding videos on Facebook, I knew we made the best decision.
You guys.. What do you do? How do you spend your time together? What is important in life to you? Jake and I are both coaches at local schools. Our lives are crazy busy, with very odd hours, making any time spent together special. You normally can find us competing one way or another or binge watching Netflix and Hulu.
Most important in our lives is our relationship with God and our friends and family. We absolutely love hanging out with our group of friends and game nights with family.
The proposal... Tell me everything (all the details) My sister had planned an end of the school year/ birthday party for me. Jake was coaching a college summer ball team and was going to be in Louisiana and couldn’t make it. That morning my sister and friends had taken me to Wheelhouse for brunch. I should have known something was up when they only allowed me to have 1 mimosa. Haha We arrived at my parents house to find all of my friends early. (That never happens lol) We we’re taking a group picture when I saw Jake’s mom and step dad walk into the yard. Me being me, didn’t think anything of it and asked them to get in the picture. 😅 They had travelled over 11 hours. A few seconds later Jake walked through the backyard gate all dressed up. It was then it finally clicked. I walked over and he was SHAKING PROFUSELY. He got down on one knee and kept it short and sweet. “Wanna have good times forever?” As he held the ring out. I instantly start crying, like all of us girls do, and shook my head yes! We laugh about it til this day that he actually never said “Will you marry me?” Jake asked in the most Jake fashion ever and I wouldn’t change a thing. The rest of the day we celebrated with our closest family and friends. It’s a day I will never forget.
Why Broussard Farm over everywhere else?:Broussard’s Farm was exactly what we were looking for. Big enough for all of our guest! We wanted the ceremony indoors and then have Swanky flip the venue to be ready for our reception. IT WAS PERFECT.
What experience do you want to give your guests? The experience we wanted to give to our guest is for them to have the same amount of fun at our wedding that Jake and I have everyday. The way y’all captured our special day did just that. The club scene(which is what we call it lol) of the reception, not only looks like a blast but truly was.
