WEDDING DAY AT THE CARRIAGE HOUSE IN CONROE, TX

Why do you want to capture your wedding on video? Having the ability to revisit the best day of your life is such a special thing to have. Seeing you and your partner's love story come to life is something so unique. We wanted the ability to travel back to that day whenever we wanted and share this with family and friends for years to come. Just like watching your favorite love movies over and over again, we wanted to have our love movie to replay as our favorite yet!

Why did you pick Me? We only looked a few other people before finding your name and work! Instantly your work spoke to us. You have the ability to not just capture the wedding day but to tell the couple's love story. I think when it comes to things you are passionate about and will cherish for your whole life it is important to work with people who are similar to you. We felt that we shared many similarities in music, interests, and lifestyle. Making his choice was so easy and it as one of the wedding choices that made us so excited. We knew magic and love would shine through with your work and boy did it!

You guys.. What do you do? How do you spend your time together? What is important in life to you? Stephanie is a First Grade Teacher and John is a Sports Orthopedic Surgeon. We love to spend time simply being together no matter what we are doing we are happy when together. We love to try new restaurants and craft breweries. We love to travel and explore new cities and places. We enjoy being active as a couple and individually. We love to spend nights at home watching the latest binge worthy series. We love to spend time with family and friends. For us as a couple, it is important to always find things in life that help us feel connected and fulfilled. We foster doing things that each other really like to do as well. We feel that family, friends, and all of our relationships are so important. We think relying on each other on each new chapter of our lives is what makes our relationship so special. As a couple, we balance one another - I am very outgoing and high energy -John is more reserve and low key - but we both are strong people who have a burning desire to succeed and love one another!

The proposal... Tell me everything (all the details) We were preparing for our move to Texas and spending the week packing up all our things. We talked about pausing all the chaos to go out for a date night and relax. There is a big lake in New Jersey by Stephanie's childhood home with several restaurants right on the water. We chose to eat at the Windless. John said his original was to propose at dinner however grabbing ice cream after at Stephanie's favorite place came into conversation and he knew that had to be where he popped the question. After dinner, we drove to Cliff's Homemade Ice Cream Shop. While sitting in the car to keep warm (Stephanie was chilly) John took a ring from his pocket and started to speak the kindest words asking Stephanie to marry him! We instantly knew this moment would be imprinted on our hearts forever. We would start planning for our future and next chapter and I mean who doesn't love ice cream!

Why The Carriage House place over everywhere else? The Carriage House was one of those places that you once you set foot on the property you feel a sense of romance and magic. The chapel's red door made such a statement drawing you inside. We felt instantly that this venue had to be the place where we would be married. Sometimes decisions take time and people have to toy over them but we knew right away from a flutter in our hearts while standing in that chapel that the Carriage House was the venue for us!

What experience do you want to give your guests? All of our guests were from out of town. I am from the East Coast and John from the West Coast. We truly loved living in Texas last year and wanted to share that with our family and friends. We wanted the weekend to really capture everything about Texas. We took our bridal party out on Lake Conroe, had the rehearsal at B-52 our favorite local brewery, and served our guests BBQ at the wedding. We wanted the weekend to be an experience for them somewhere new that most of them had not been. We wanted the day to reflect who were were and for them to see that in all the details and vendors we chose. Even at the end of the night we sent them back to the hotel with a Chick-fil-A sandwich!
